Operation Give-A-Bear Adopts Phoenix Family for the Holidays

For the third year, Operation Give A Bear has adopted the children in Phoenix Family Housing communities to receive bears for the holidays.

Kevin York and his family began Operation Give a Bear in October 2005. Wanting to make the holidays a little brighter for children living in Phoenix Family Housing's communities, Kevin and his family worked with Build-A-Bear to deliver more than 500 bears that first holiday season. In 2008, they are gearing up to give 3,000 bears to children living in Phoenix Family Housing properties and to children whose parents are serving in the military.
