Adopt a senior and let them know they’re not alone this year.

Help make this holiday season bright for older adults in our community.

Phoenix Family’s Adopt A Senior program matches generous donors with older adults who might otherwise go without holiday gifts. Each sponsor receives a profile introducing the senior they’ll support and a personalized wish list. Every gift brought in goes directly to the senior you’ve adopted.

General Information

Currently we offer the Adopt A Senior program in the Kansas City Metro and Des Moines, IA.

How to become a sponsor

  1. Complete our online sponsor form to adopt a senior this holiday season.
  2. Profiles and wish lists will begin distribution November 10, 2025.
  3. You’ll receive profiles of seniors nominated for adoption and their wish lists to choose from.
  4. Select the person who resonates most with you and let us know as soon as possible.
  5. After confirming, go shopping! Buy anything or everything on their list—it’s up to you.
  6. Schedule a time to deliver your gifts to our home office at 3908 Washington, Kansas City, MO 64111 by December 13, 2025.
Adopt a Senior Sponsor Form

Gift Drop Off

Gifts for seniors may be dropped off from December 2 through December 13, 2025.

  1. Deliver all gifts to Phoenix Family’s Home Office (3908 Washington, Kansas City, MO 64111) and schedule a drop-off time in advance or call 816.612.8842. Unscheduled drop-offs cannot be accepted.
  2. All gifts must arrive by December 13, 2025.
